Features Of Laser Resistant Endotracheal Tube

Material:

  • Made from materials that can withstand high temperatures and resist damage from laser energy, such as a special type of silicone or reinforced plastic.

  • The PVC tube is covered by SUS outside.

  • The Ultrathin cuff is constructed from medical grade polyurethane and has a thickness of 0,028mm.    Aside from being very soft and providing a high level of comfort, the ultrathin cuff forms a superior seal and minimises the risk for microaspiration. When deflated it sits tightly against the body of the blocker tube minimising the potential for airway trauma during insertion and extubation.



Construction:

  • Often has a thicker wall than standard ET tubes to provide additional protection against heat and light.
